Jabberwocky DVD.

OVERVIEW: This 1977 work was Monty Python animator and occasional performer Terry Gilliams first solo effort as a director (he codirected Monty Python and the Holy Grail with fellow Python Terry Jones). Based on the poem by Lewis Carroll, Jabberwocky follows a medieval knights (Michael Palin) heroic journey to find and slay a fearsome dragon known as the Jabberwock. Among the revealing special features are commentary by Gilliam and Palin, and a sketch-to-screen comparison based on Gilliams original sketches for the film.
