This November, a signed limitedhardcover collection of never-before published short stories by Ray Bradbury, titled MASKS. The title story was to be Bradburys second novel. In the late-forties he applied for a Guggenheim grant and submitted a portion of his novel as part of the process. While Bradbury didnt get the grant he continued to tinker with the story of a man who hid his own personality behind masks he literally wore, each giving him a different personality, through the early-fifties. Editor Donn Albright has combined the various fragments Bradbury wrote to form a cohesive story.
 
The book also contains 6 other previously unpublished short stories he wrote during this period including a unique take on racism.
 
The short stories other than Masks in the collection are:
 
"Walker in the Night"
"The Drothldo"
"The Dancing Magician" (aka "Gallagher the Great")|
"In the Eye of the Beholder"
"The Face of Natalie"
"They Never Got Mad"
 
None of the stories in this collection will be published elsewhere.
