OVERVIEW: a Fine unread copy in a Near Fine slipcase, contains 3 of Matheson's scarce mystery novels --- Someone is Bleeding, Fury on Sunday ( both originally Lion paperbacks ), and Ride the Nightmare (originally a Ballantine paperback), signature page includes photos of the original Lion and Ballantine editions. This is the first time any have appeared in an English-language hardcover. Matthew R. Bradley's introduction includes interview comments by Richard Matheson. Two of the novels have been filmed for movies and TV. SOMEONE IS BLEEDING was adapted into the 1974 French-language film LES SEINS DE GLACE (Icy Breasts). RIDE THE NIGHTMARE has been adapted twice: first in a 1962 episode of THE ALFRED HITCHCOCK HOUR (with teleplay by Richard Matheson) and later as the 1970 film COLD SWEAT, directed by Terence Young and starring Charles Bronson.
